Mopping Up

I was mopping my floor the other day and was thinking... Wouldn't it be cool if I could just strap two sponges on my feet and skate around the kitchen like Pippy Longstockings did??? Do you think that method would be as effective as me getting down on my hands and knees and scrubbing away?

Complaint from a Teacher

A teacher friend of mine complained to me the other day about how her students were unruly and a menace to society. She told me that it was the parents' faults. They were too busy working and weren't raising their kids. I got to thinking about this and was wondering who was raising this teacher's kids??? Well, she's at work, too, right? So she is just as guilty as those other parents! Maybe she should think about fixing what is happening in her home before she starts spouting off what's wrong with society.

Full Time Mom

I think Stay at Home Mom and Homemaker don't quite fit the description of what I actually do in life. I am hardly ever at home. I'm either running errands, or taking the kids to the park or school. Honestly, a Working Mom must have created that title in hopes that someday she would be lucky enough to stay at home. And Homemaker? Come on! I sure hope anyone in a family is trying to make their house a home!
