Mom's Eyes!!!

I remember joking with my mother that she had x ray vision or eyes in the back of her head. She always managed to ask, at the perfect moment, as my siblings and I were about to run a muck or do something naughty, "What are you kids up to?".
Well, I just had my first x ray vision moment! I honestly don't know how I did it! It was amazing!
I was doing the dishes this morning after making breakfast and my four year old came up to me and asked if he could play on the computer. I said, "No, you have to eat your cereal first." Now, how did I know, without seeing the bowl sitting on the dining room table that he had not eaten his cereal, yet!? At that moment I amazed even myself! My son turned around and marched out of the kitchen saying, "Aw, man!"

Take Out The Trash!!!

I don't expect my husband to do much around the house, mainly just the manly duties of mowing, home repairs and emptying the trash. He's been slacking on taking out the trash for a while now and I've just been going ahead and taking it out for him. No biggy, really. Anything to lighten his load and make my house a tiny bit clean. So today, I asked him to take out the trash before he left for work. You know what he told me??? "It's full again?, I just took it out yesterday."
I could not believe my ears! LOL
So, I said to him, "Yeah, isn't that crazy!? And you want to know something crazier? I did the dishes yesterday and have to clean them again today AND I washed the laundry yesterday and have to do it again today!"
I think he got the message. The garbage was emptied before he left for work!

Why be pissed off...

...when you can be pissed on? Yes, I've been pissed on! And by none other than my own, sweet, innocent child! No Elimination Communication for us! I can't even tell when my kid is finished doing business in his diaper after he's started!

Schwarzenegger's State of the State Address

Schwarzenegger gave his State of the State Address a few hours ago and let me just sum it up for you all. California is screwed!
Us voters recalled Davis because we wanted California cleaned up, the spending in Sacramento controlled and something done about the Illegal Aliens. We, as voters, had our chance to back up the little bit of the Force that was left in Schwarzenegger back during the Special Election last year, but we turned our backs on him and he turned to the Dark Side.

You know it's time to wax when...

...Your four year old tells you "You have hair on your lip like Daddy. You should shave it off, Mommy."

Why do they have to be so honest at our expense??? And the second you need them to be honest, like when the little one is crying and you need to know why, all that honesty disappears!
